Solving inequalities is just like solving equations. Let's review...
Step 1 - Ask "what is happening to the variable?"
Step 2 - Undo it (in other words do the opposite)
Step 3 - Whatever you did in step 2, do to the other side of the equation.
(Think of an equation as a scale... to keep the equation true, keep the scale balanced.)
Step 4 - Check your solution
Once you have the solution, you will need to graph it.
