Chapter 5.2 - Simplifying Expressions

Simplifying an expression is different than evaluating an expression.
Simpifying an expression is removing any unneccessary terms or combining terms.
Evaluating an expression is "working out" the problem.
We could simplify an expression by combining like terms.
Like terms are terms that have identical variables.
example of like terms - 3m and 7m or 4mn and 9mn

Add and subtract like terms.
