Chapter 4 Project
Congratulations! You made it through another chapter!
You options for the chapter 4 project are individual projects.
Your project should be completed on a piece of copy paper. It will be graded on having all the required parts, mathematical accuracy, neatness, and being visually pleasing (color and spacing).
To get an A on the project:
Create a poster with the following items:
- A story problem that requires a student to multiply or divide fractions (or mixed
numbers) to solve the problem.
- An accurate solution is shown (solved mathematically)
- A diagram is created that shows how you could solve the problem with a diagram
Another way to get an A:
Create a poster with the following items:
- A story problem that requires the student to add or subtract unlike fractions (or mixed
numbers) to solve the problem.
- An accurate solution is shown (solved mathematically)
- A diagram is created that shows how you solve the problem with a diagram.
To get a B on the project:
Create a poster with the following items:
- A story problem that requires the student to add or subtract like fractions
- An accurate solution is shown (solved mathematically)
